## Description

ThroughView is a creative project focused on transforming vintage images and works of art into new visual experiences. Its aim is to bring famous periods and moments from history to life through conversions that turn traditional two-dimensional paintings and photographs into three-dimensional presentations. The project offers The Museum of ThroughView, a virtual reality museum where visitors can view and experience these converted works in 3D. It also presents a selection of conversions made for the Looking Glass holographic display, including works described as Old Masters in 3D. ThroughView’s online gallery features converted historical paintings and photographs, which can be viewed using red-cyan 3D glasses, with the red lens worn over the left eye. For those who want to enjoy the images beyond the digital gallery, ThroughView offers high-quality art prints of its 3D conversions. The website also provides information about the project and ways to get in touch, alongside links to its social media accounts. ThroughView brings together digital art, historical imagery, virtual reality, and printed artwork.
