## Description

Thunder Bay Therapeutic Riding Association (T.B.T.R.A.) is a registered charitable organization in Thunder Bay that uses horseback riding to support the physical and mental health and overall wellness of children, youth, and adults with special needs. Founded in 1990, it is a registered member of the Ontario Therapeutic Riding Association and is sustained through fundraising, donations, and volunteer involvement. The organization offers therapeutic riding lessons, with riders paying only a small fee to participate. Its program provides people with various needs an opportunity to benefit from riding, which the association notes can help treat different afflictions. T.B.T.R.A. provides an application form and information for people interested in registering, including program pricing and registration details. It also welcomes volunteers and monetary contributions to help keep the program operating in the community. The association’s website features a gallery and participant testimonials, including accounts highlighting its horses, volunteers, and arena, which allows riding to continue during poor weather.
