Striving to support the green transition, the port is actively engaged in a large-scale energy project in collaboration with Sumitomo Corporation and Skovgaard Energy, focusing on the production and shipment of green ammonia.

Thyborøn Havn continues to expand and develop its facilities, recently achieving an 11-meter water depth in a new deepwater fairway. In addition, the port is extending its areas to the south, creating more space for handling a wide range of project cargo and bulk goods. This expansion ensures the continuing growth and prosperity of the port's activities.
