## Description

TicinoMarathon is an amateur paddling event organised by CUS Pavia A.S.D. and its canoeing section. Held on the Ticino River, the event invites participants to explore the natural landscapes of the Parco del Ticino in kayaks, canoes, stand-up paddleboards, rafts, and other paddle-powered craft. The 2026 edition is scheduled for 20 September, with a guided descent covering about 25 kilometres from Parco Geraci in Motta Visconti to the CUS Pavia nautical centre. Designed as an accessible day of sport and social connection, the route includes brief stops and a refreshment point at the Bereguardo barge bridge. At the finish, participants can enjoy a meal, live music, and activities hosted with local volunteer associations. Organisers also provide a shuttle service for drivers, available by reservation during registration. The event welcomes paddlers from northern and central Italy and the Canton of Ticino, and is listed in the Italian Canoe Federation’s National Sport for All calendar. TicinoMarathon shares registration details, route and event information, regulations, and photos and videos from past editions.
