## Description

The Tidal Doula is a birth-support and photography practice based in Robbinsdale, Minnesota, serving families in Minneapolis, St. Paul, and the greater Twin Cities area. Led by Emily Kossila, a certified birth doula, sibling doula, and birth photographer, the practice offers personalized, compassionate, and evidence-based care shaped around each family’s needs and choices. Emily helps expectant parents explore local resources and prepare for labor, providing guidance through the childbirth experience. Sibling doula services extend support to the whole family, helping children understand birth in age-appropriate ways and offering care while parents focus on labor and delivery. The Tidal Doula also provides birth, maternity, and postpartum photography, documenting intimate family moments with an emphasis on the emotion, strength, and beauty of each story. With more than ten years of experience serving over 200 Twin Cities families, Emily aims to create authentic connections and empowering experiences. Families can explore photography portfolios, client stories, community resources, and birth-related articles, or contact the practice to arrange a free consultation.
