## Description

The Tierheim Münster, located on the edge of the Boniburg Forest in Münster, Westphalia, has been dedicated to animal welfare since 1957. Spanning nearly 10,000 square meters, this shelter features seven animal houses, a supply building equipped with a food storage and kitchen, as well as a wildlife outdoor enclosure. The facility also houses the office for the local animal protection association.

Open from Wednesday to Sunday, the Tierheim Münster welcomes visitors to connect with a variety of animals including dogs, cats, birds, and small pets. The organization provides numerous services such as pet adoption, training courses for dogs, and community engagement opportunities, including monthly meetings for volunteers. Additionally, they support animal welfare initiatives like spay/neuter campaigns and the rehoming of abandoned young animals. With a commitment to promoting responsible pet ownership, the Tierheim Münster actively participates in regional animal welfare efforts and offers valuable resources for pet owners and the community alike.
