## Description

Tierschutz Nordhausen e. V. is a nonprofit animal welfare association based in Nordhausen, Germany. The organization works to protect and care for animals in need and to find them suitable homes. Its website features animals available for adoption, including cats cared for at its cat house, and provides information about adoption enquiries and the animals’ needs. The association also supports foster placements, missing-animal assistance, and long-term care for animals that remain in its care.

People can help through financial and food donations, sponsorships, volunteering, and membership. Donations help cover food, veterinary treatment, and safe shelter, while food can be delivered to the cat house or placed in collection boxes at local supermarkets. The association also offers boarding and cat-sitting information and welcomes reports from people who have found an animal in need or require urgent assistance. Tierschutz Nordhausen is registered as a charitable organization and can issue donation receipts. Its work depends on community support to improve the lives of the animals it protects.
