## Description

Tiger Bay Brawlers is Cardiff and Wales’ premier roller derby team and the Cardiff Roller Derby League. Founded in 2010, the club established itself among the UK’s leading roller derby teams and has maintained that standing, with competition experience extending internationally. It was among the first UK teams to compete abroad, taking part in tournaments in Europe and the United States. The Brawlers describe their identity through three values: athletic, focused and united.

The team competes in roller derby, a fast-paced, full-contact sport played on quad roller skates, with teams racing around an oval track. Each side fields four blockers and a jammer, who scores by passing opposing blockers; matches consist of two 30-minute periods. Tiger Bay Brawlers presents the sport as a test of athleticism, agility and teamwork, and welcomes people interested in getting involved. Its website shares information about the league and its teams, events, support opportunities, store, game scores and rankings, alongside updates such as its participation in the 2025 World Cup.
