## Description

Tiger Kim’s Academy is a Denver martial arts school with roots dating back to 1976. Founded by Great Grandmaster Tiger Kim, the academy teaches traditional Korean Taekwondo, Tang Soo Do, and Hapkido, combining established martial arts practices with skills students can apply in everyday life. Its programs welcome children, teens, adults, families, and students at different experience levels, with individualized instruction and structured rank progression toward black belt.

Training emphasizes physical development alongside focus, discipline, respect, confidence, coordination, and perseverance. The academy aims to provide a supportive yet challenging environment where students can grow on and off the mat. In addition to regular martial arts classes, offerings include self-defense, tournaments, parties, and events.

The school is led by instructors with extensive martial arts and teaching experience. Grandmaster Kim holds an eighth dan in both Taekwondo and Tang Soo Do, and the academy reports having trained more than 11,000 students. Recognized as a Denver Legacy Business, it is located at 7000 East Colfax Avenue and offers introductory Taekwondo classes.
