## Description

Novus Scientific AB is a medtech company based in Uppsala, Sweden, focused on surgical technology and resorbable materials for reconstructive surgery. Its flagship brand, TIGR® Matrix, is a synthetic surgical mesh designed for abdominal wall closure, repair and reconstruction, as well as breast reconstruction, subject to applicable market indications. The animal-free mesh is made from polymer fibers and uses a dual-stage resorption design, combining faster- and slower-resorbing fibers. It provides mechanical support during healing, then gradually resorbs as tissue remodels, with the stated aim of leaving no permanent mesh material in the body. Its warp-knitted, macroporous structure is intended to support tissue integration and offers surgeons a soft, pliable material that can be positioned, sutured and customized during procedures. Novus Scientific supports healthcare professionals with product and patient information, clinical publications, educational events and access to regional distributors. The company also provides regulatory information and invites clinicians to contact its team for product inquiries, pricing details and case data. TIGR Matrix has received regulatory clearances and approvals in several markets.
