## Description

Texas Interscholastic League Foundation (TILF) has a rich history of investing in young minds through scholarships. Founded in 1958 by Rodney J. Kidd, TILF has awarded over $38 million to 21,000 Texas high school students who participated in UIL Academic State Meets. To be eligible for a TILF scholarship, students must have competed in these academic events. During each academic year, TILF disburses over $1 million to 500 students in Texas colleges and universities. With an endowment of over $18 million and annual grants exceeding $600,000, TILF remains committed to supporting academic excellence. The Board of Directors and staff are actively raising funds for future scholarships. Whether big or small, every donation makes a difference in shaping the future success stories of TILF scholarship recipients.
