## Description

The Timberline Alumni Foundation (TAF) is a nonprofit organization based in Weippe, Idaho, dedicated to supporting Timberline Schools and strengthening connections among alumni, students, faculty, staff, and the wider community. Its purpose is to promote school spirit, loyalty, fellowship, and community involvement while preserving the school’s history and maintaining an up-to-date alumni database.

TAF supports educational opportunities through scholarships and funding for initiatives such as teacher mini-grants, vocational and music programs, art, financial and business education, athletics, and traveling defibrillators for school activities. The foundation also recognizes notable Timberline High School individuals, teams, and programs through its Hall of Fame. Recent projects include awarding more than $15,000 in scholarships to 2026 seniors and commissioning a mural for the Timberline Schools building to inspire the community.

People can contribute through lifetime memberships, one-time donations, corporate sponsorships, and estate gifts. The foundation states that these contributions are tax deductible through its 501(c)(3) nonprofit status.
