By gifting these families experiences away from home, we give them much-needed opportunities to take a break from it all and spend quality time together. With over 50,000 holiday homes in New Zealand, our mission is to get more kiwi donors on board so that we can lend a hand to those who need it. Our story began in 2013 when our founder Ronda Amende was diagnosed with a rare cancer and given only 12 months to live. She fought her illness through a three-year battle with chemotherapy, and during this trying time, a kind gesture from a work colleague provided much-needed relief - some time away at a family holiday home. Inspired by this experience, Ronda wanted other families in need to have the same opportunity, and thus TimeOut was born. Today, we're proud to have over 150 holiday homes on offer from generous kiwis, allowing people in need and their families to create special memories together.
