## Description

Tim Murray-Browne is a computational artist, graphics and machine learning engineer, and researcher whose work explores artificial intelligence, embodiment, and the ways technology shapes human thought. He creates interactive installations, embodied performance systems, and audiovisual works, often asking how technology can support human creativity without imposing its own assumptions about how people should act.

His projects include The Wilds, which considers whether people can interact with machines without having to think like them, and whether AI can avoid making human creativity more uniform. He also initiated Cave of Sounds, a collective that developed an award-winning ensemble of networked musical instruments played exclusively by audience members. His work spans interactive experiences and film, including the AI-rendered short film World Without End and the one-minute film Cosmic Insignificance Therapy.

Murray-Browne shares writing and reflections through ART ∩ CODE, his newsletter, which also features announcements about new work. Based in Glasgow, London, and Bucharest, he presents his artistic practice through projects, texts, and performances that examine the relationship between people and technology.
