# Timoun Books - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `timounbooks.fr` ## Description Timoun Books is an independent, bilingual editorial magazine exploring Russian books, comics and animation for children. Published in French and Russian, it serves French-speaking families, the Russian-speaking diaspora, teachers and librarians seeking thoughtful resources on children’s culture and literature. Rather than operating as a commercial catalogue, the magazine offers guides, author profiles, articles, interviews and editorial features that introduce readers to classic and contemporary works. Its coverage spans illustrated books, folk tales, children’s literature, poetry, comics, youth magazines and Russian cartoons, with material organized for different age groups. Readers can discover writers and artists such as Korney Chukovsky, Samuil Marshak and Eduard Uspensky, as well as characters including Cheburashka, and explore studios and traditions from Soyuzmultfilm to modern animation. Practical guides address family listening, educational games, cultural celebrations and storytelling, while interviews and expert perspectives add context for parents and educators. Timoun Books also preserves the memory of Klioutch, a bilingual children’s magazine published for the Russian-speaking diaspora in France from 2018 to 2022, through an editorial tribute and historical overview. ## Industries - 🍿 Arts and Entertainment - 🍿 Books and Literature _(under Arts and Entertainment)_ - 📰 News and Media - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 Literature _(under Science and Education)_ ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG, SVG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idpsG0PKoW/w/820/h/820/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793554990122) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Tussock | #c69c46 | accent | | Crimson | #c8102e | dark | | Quarter Spanish White | #f8f2e4 | light | ## Fonts - var(--ff-display) — asset _(custom)_ - var(--ff-body) — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
