## Description

Tink’s ChapBlog: Tales of the Tribe is a poetry and literature blog by Marvin Loyd Welborn, presenting mythopoeic verse alongside reflections on culture, politics, philosophy, and everyday life. Its extensive archive features poems and short-form writing with varied moods and themes, from Americana and personal observation to current events and social commentary. Welborn describes his work as an invitation into a philosophical “Long Conversation,” using poetic pensées and imaginative journeys to encourage readers to consider familiar subjects from fresh perspectives. The blog also promotes his book, Union Station and Paradigm Shift, available through Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Xlibris Publishing, and links to a free e-book edition. The collection is presented as an abstract journey through “concrete Americana,” combining serious humor, light-hearted gravitas, and philosophical discussion. Readers can browse posts, explore genealogy-related material, follow the blog by email for new-post notifications, and engage through comments. Tink’s ChapBlog also connects visitors with poetry communities and literature sites, including dVerse Poets Pub and Asketes.com, reflecting its focus on creative writing and thoughtful exchange.
