Based in Gainesville, Florida, the organization is working to create a sustainable, affordable, and inclusive supported residential community in Greater Gainesville. Its guiding idea is “Not just a roof. A community”: a place where residents can live with individualized support and participate in community life. The project’s vision includes designing and building the residential community, providing access to support services tailored to each resident, and developing partnerships and pathways that help residents work, live, and play to their abilities. The organization also shares resources and information about related disability services and housing initiatives, including examples from other communities that inform its plans. People can support the mission by donating, connecting with the organization, joining its mailing list, or getting involved. The Independence Project welcomes community participation as it works toward a more sustainable independent-living option for adults with I/DD. ## Industries - 🎗 Community and Society - 🎗 Philanthropy _(under Community and Society)_ - ⛑ Health - ⛑ Developmental and Physical Disabilities _(under Health)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/TIPGNV) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG, SVG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idswPVcG_J/w/820/h/295/theme/light/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793279732113) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idswPVcG_J/w/1079/h/1079/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793279732590) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Key Lime Pie | #bad532 | accent | | Nutmeg | #83432d | dark | | Jaffa | #f08e53 | light | ## Fonts - Barlow — asset _(google)_ - Barlow — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
