The island is known for its wildlife and as a significant conservation success story, offering visitors opportunities to discover threatened species and learn about New Zealand’s conservation history. Visitors can explore the sanctuary independently or join guided walks to learn about its wildlife and restoration work. The organisation also provides information to help people plan a trip, including details about walks, activities and overnight stays. Its education programmes and school visits give students first-hand experiences of the island’s natural environment. Through the Growing Minds programme, launched in 2012, the supporters have helped thousands of children from eligible Auckland schools visit the sanctuary. People can get involved by becoming members, volunteering or taking part in community projects and activities such as working bees and concerts. Supporters also contribute to the organisation’s conservation and education programmes. ## Industries - 🎸 Hobbies and Leisure _(under Hobbies and Leisure)_ - 🎸 Hobbies and Leisure ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/TiritiriMatangiIsland) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/tiritirimatangiisland) - [linkedin](https://linkedin.com/company/supporters-of-tiritiri-matangi) ## Logos & icons - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idjRs4cOSr/w/320/h/320/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1792309894017) - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idjRs4cOSr/w/2000/h/2000/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1792309893933) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Flamingo | #f15d27 | accent | | Daintree | #023535 | dark | | Tacha | #d2bf64 | light | ## Fonts - serif — asset _(custom)_ - Solway — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
