# Tiroler Geschichtsverein - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `tirolergeschichtsverein.org` ## Description The Tiroler Geschichtsverein is a historical society dedicated to sharing knowledge of Tyrol’s history within its historical boundaries, strengthening public awareness of the past, and supporting research into the region’s history. Founded in Innsbruck in 1982, the association works alongside its sister society in Bolzano, established in 1988. Both organizations welcome anyone interested in history, not only professional historians. The society offers a varied program of activities for members and the wider public. Regular lectures explore Tyrol’s history across different periods, including contemporary history, and draw on related disciplines ranging from archaeology to art history. The program also includes excursions and symposia, providing opportunities to engage with historical topics through discussion and visits. The website shares event information, reports, photographs, press materials, and archival content, including notices from both the Innsbruck and Bolzano associations. With activities spanning two locations and a broad range of historical subjects, the Tiroler Geschichtsverein connects interested audiences with the study and understanding of Tyrol’s past. ## Industries - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 History _(under Science and Education)_ ## Links - [instagram](https://instagram.com/tiroler_geschichtsverein) ## Logos & icons - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idyFSNV72N/w/100/h/100/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1792830814341) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Dark Tan | #680b0b | dark | | White | #ffffff | light | ## Fonts - Roboto Slab — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
