## Description

TJ Motor-Yacht Námestovo is a sailing club based on the shore of the Orava Reservoir in Námestovo, Slovakia. The club promotes sailing for children and young people while also supporting adult sailors and boat owners. Its activities include training, regattas and summer camps designed to introduce young people to water sports and help them develop their sailing skills.

For adults, TJ Motor-Yacht Námestovo runs courses leading to the small craft operator licence, known as VMP. Course participants receive access to an online learning application, which works on mobile devices and computers and offers practice questions across examination topics such as navigation, geography, vessel construction and sailing. The club also sells gift vouchers for VMP courses in categories A and B.

In addition to education and youth activities, the club provides advice on buying, selling, building and registering boats. Its facilities are located at Hotel Šport by the reservoir. The club shares updates about events on Facebook and welcomes donations to support children’s sailing activities.
