## Description

Taekwon-Do Tornio is a martial arts club in Tornio, Finland, offering ITF Taekwon-Do training in a welcoming, community-focused environment. The club was founded in 1998, following activity that began in the early 1990s, and is based at the Tornio Martial Arts and Climbing Centre. Its programs serve children, young people and adults, with age-appropriate sessions combining martial arts skills, physical activity, games and personal challenges. Younger participants learn through playful, varied exercises, while youth training offers an energetic and supportive setting for development. Adult classes provide physical challenge, a break from everyday routines and opportunities to practise concentration and memory. The club also runs beginner courses and organizes grading events, while members take part in competitions. Taekwon-Do Tornio emphasizes inclusion, encouragement and shared responsibility among members. It has earned the Finnish Star Club quality designation, recognizing its commitment to meeting participants’ needs and continually developing its activities.
