For more than a century, it has helped people discover birds and share knowledge about them. TOS brings together bird enthusiasts and citizen scientists who learn to identify birds, improve their birdwatching skills, join field outings, explore birding locations, and contribute observations and other field data. Members can also take part in local chapter meetings and support conservation and education efforts in Tennessee and beyond. The society promotes enjoyment, scientific study, and conservation of birds and their habitats through information, announcements, and calls to action. Its activities include educational programs, conservation initiatives, policy work, and funding and grants. TOS also offers publications such as The Migrant and The Tennessee Warbler, along with resources about bird records, birding locations, and Tennessee birds. With chapters across the state, the organization invites people to join, attend events, contribute data, or donate to help birds and their habitats. ## Industries - 🏭 Waste Water and Environmental _(under Heavy Industry and Engineering)_ - 🏭 Heavy Industry and Engineering ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/tnornithologicalsociety) - [linkedin](https://linkedin.com/company/tnos) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — SVG, PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idkSYDBcBy/theme/dark/logo.svg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793741094897) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idkSYDBcBy/w/1350/h/1350/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793741095137) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Crete | #67802a | accent | | Cod Gray | #111111 | dark | | White | #ffffff | light | ## Fonts - Inter — asset _(google)_ - Verdana — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
