With a rich history dating back to its inauguration in October 1952, TNDC oversees 16 recognized dental colleges in the state. As of March 31, 2012, TNDC has registered 15,936 dentists, including 1962 with MDS qualifications, as well as 606 Dental Hygienists and 959 Dental Mechanics.
