## Description

Konrad Toboggan is a traditional family-run amusement attraction operated by the Konrad family, whose showman heritage spans six generations. A fixture at Munich’s Oktoberfest since 1933, the wooden slide is celebrated as an original piece of Wiesn history and a nostalgic favourite. Visitors first make their way up its moving conveyor belt, then enjoy a fast ride down the 39.6-metre ash-wood track. The climb itself is part of the fun, adding playful challenge and plenty of laughs to the experience.

The attraction combines historic character with carefully maintained mechanical features, including a 32-metre conveyor belt. Its operation involves a team of around eight to ten people. Claus Konrad took over its management in 2012, continuing a tradition maintained by his family for generations. The Konrad Toboggan website shares the ride’s history, technical details, photographs and contact information, and invites visitors to experience the attraction at Oktoberfest. The family also welcomes enquiries and announces opportunities to join its team.
