## Description

Toby Creek Nordic Ski Club is a registered non-profit organization serving Invermere and the Columbia Valley in British Columbia. With nearly 500 members, the club creates opportunities for healthy, active winter recreation for families, children, and adults, including cross-country ski instruction, youth skill development, and ski racing programs. It also maintains and track-sets local trails for classic and skate skiing.

The club’s signature destination is the Lake Windermere Whiteway, a multi-use winter trail more than 30 kilometres long. Recognized by Guinness World Records in 2014 as the world’s longest skating trail, it offers ice skating, groomed cross-country ski routes, and a walking path. Toby Creek Nordic also maintains the Lillian Lake network, including the Johnson Trails, where higher elevation can support a longer ski season. Additional trail access is supported through partnerships with Panorama and Nipika resorts and Recreation Sites & Trails BC. The club offers memberships and Whiteway passes, shares trail conditions, and hosts events including the Nipika Loppet Weekend and Banff Mountain Film Festival.
