## Description

Toiminnaksi is a child and adolescent occupational therapy practice led by occupational therapist Minna Littunen, serving families across Southwest Finland and Satakunta. Littunen works with preschool and primary-school-aged children, meeting them in familiar everyday environments such as their homes, schools, day-care centres and after-school clubs. Reception appointments are also offered at Terapiapiste Fikkari in Itäharju, Turku.

Therapy supports children who have difficulty learning everyday skills, playing, maintaining attention, starting tasks, processing sensory information, balancing, moving or using a pencil. Services are planned around each child’s individual needs and goals, using play and meaningful activities to support participation in daily life. The practice also guides families and other adults in the child’s surroundings, helping them support progress in everyday settings.

Littunen has experience with sensory processing challenges, feeding difficulties, developmental delays, autism-related traits and sensorimotor difficulties. A qualified occupational therapist and former early childhood education teacher, she brings nearly 14 years of day-care experience to her work. Therapy is provided in Finnish, with sign-supported communication available.
