## Description

ToimivaMinä Oy is the private practice of Päivi Kähkönen, based in Kouvola, Finland. Drawing on her professional background as a psychiatric nurse, psychotherapist, work supervisor and riding therapist, Kähkönen offers services for children, young people and adults. The practice provides psychotherapy by agreement, supporting clients in exploring their thoughts, feelings and experiences in a calm, reflective setting. Work supervision helps individuals and groups examine, assess and develop their work, professional roles and workplace relationships with the guidance of a trained supervisor. ToimivaMinä also offers riding therapy: individualized, planned rehabilitation involving a therapist and a horse. Depending on the therapist’s training and the client’s needs, this work may focus on motor, educational or psychological goals and can form part of broader rehabilitation. The practice additionally lists horse care among its services. Kähkönen has worked in psychiatric care, youth psychiatry and management, and has operated as a private practitioner since 2007. ToimivaMinä serves clients from its reception in Kouvola and its stable in Harju.
