## Description

The Edison Birthplace Museum in Milan, Ohio, preserves and shares the story of Thomas Alva Edison’s early life and the beginnings of his inventive legacy. Located in the home where Edison was born in 1847, the historic site gives visitors a chance to explore the rooms and learn about the family and influences that shaped his childhood. Guided tours, offered regularly throughout the day, last about an hour and are led by expert guides.
