## Description

Tompens is a Budapest-based specialist in antique and modern writing instruments, combining sales, repair services and stories about pens. With nearly 20 years of experience, the business offers carefully selected fountain pens, ballpoint pens and other distinctive writing tools from brands including Esterbrook, Montblanc, Parker, Sheaffer, Waterman and Pelikan. Each listed item includes a detailed description of its condition and features, and pens are inspected, cleaned and tested before sale. Tompens provides a one-year warranty on its pens and offers personal opportunities to try items in Budapest.

The workshop repairs fountain pens, including nibs, filling systems, pistons and other mechanical components. Customers can describe a pen’s model and problem, ideally with photographs, to find out whether a repair can be undertaken. The site also features writing accessories and supplies, including pen cases and inks from brands such as Herbin, Diamine, Rohrer & Klingner and Koh-i-Noor. For enthusiasts and curious readers, Tompens publishes articles on pen history, technology, restoration and notable writing instruments, sharing knowledge alongside its products and services.
