## Description

T.O. Na Água is an occupational therapy service in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, specializing in care delivered in an aquatic environment. Founded by occupational therapist Pollyanne Calu, the practice grew from her experience as a former swimmer and years of observing aquatic programs. It uses the water as a welcoming setting to support children’s development, participation, and independence, with care tailored to each child and family.

Services include pediatric aquatic occupational therapy, a free and supported aquatic experience for babies and children, and consultations that help parents use the water to encourage care skills and family connection. The practice serves children from 3 months to 12 years, including those with autism, attention difficulties, developmental conditions, and cerebral palsy. Individual assessments identify each child’s needs and guide personalized therapeutic goals and treatment plans. Sessions may address everyday routines, school-related abilities, play, movement, and confidence in the water. T.O. Na Água emphasizes respectful, family-centered care, while offering guidance for clients seeking reimbursement from their health plans.
