Its program is designed for families and other groups, combining outdoor exploration, learning and hands-on activities. Guests can join guided oyster trips, including gourmet outings, explore the tidal flats, discover local wildlife or visit World War II bunkers. Activities for children include investigations of beach and marine life, while creative workshops feature amber polishing, kite building and crafts made from shells. The center also offers nature-based food experiences, public science talks, educational programs for schools and childcare groups, and outings for companies and private parties. Visitors can ask the team for advice on exploring Rømø and book upcoming tours or gift vouchers. The exhibition is currently closed as the center relocates to temporary premises in Havneby. A larger expansion is planned for spring 2028, while guided excursions continue, connecting visitors with the region’s distinctive coastal nature and heritage. ## Industries - 🧪 Libraries and Museums _(under Science and Education)_ - 🧪 Science and Education ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/Tonnisgaard) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/naturcentertonnisgard) - [linkedin](https://linkedin.com/company/naturcenter-tønnisgård) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG, SVG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idh4X_3_CZ/w/820/h/155/theme/light/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793169296226) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idh4X_3_CZ/w/336/h/336/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793169296304) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Janna | #f2e7ce | accent | | San Juan | #305574 | dark | | White | #ffffff | light | ## Fonts - Roboto Condensed — asset _(google)_ - Roboto Condensed — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
