# Toolserver - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `toolserver.org` ## Description Toolserver was a collaborative platform that offered Unix hosting for a range of software tools specifically developed and utilized by Wikimedia editors. Run by Wikimedia Deutschland e.V., Toolserver provided a diverse set of services to support the Wikimedia community. However, the platform has undergone a transformation. Toolserver has now been superseded by Wikimedia Cloud Services, complemented by the Toolforge project. These new platforms carry forward the functionalities and services previously offered by Toolserver, thereby ensuring a seamless transition for users. With this evolution, the Wikimedia community can continue to access the same services while benefiting from enhanced capabilities and innovative features. The transition away from Toolserver demonstrates Wikimedia's commitment to continually improving its infrastructure and providing its users with state-of-the-art tools and services. ## Industries - 🖥 Computers Electronics and Technology - 🖥 Cloud Services and Computing _(under Computers Electronics and Technology)_ - 🖥 Web Hosting and Domain Names _(under Computers Electronics and Technology)_ ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG, SVG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idrmvDYhrN/w/820/h/820/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1719884524152) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Black Bean | #030906 | accent | | Bahama Blue | #006599 | dark | | White | #ffffff | light | --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
