## Description

Top End Pet Farewells is a locally owned, family-operated service supporting pet owners across Darwin, Palmerston and the surrounding Top End. With almost 20 years of experience in the pet industry, the team understands the close bond people share with their animals and offers compassionate care during a difficult time.

The business specialises in aquacremation, also known as water cremation, as a gentle alternative to flame cremation or burial. Using warm water and natural alkalis, the process mirrors natural decomposition and takes around 20 hours at the company’s Darwin facility in Berrimah. Top End Pet Farewells says the method uses less energy than flame cremation and produces no harmful gas emissions or pollutants. Each pet is cremated individually, and the ashes are returned to the family.

Services are available for cats, dogs, birds, small livestock, pocket pets and exotic animals. Families can also choose from urns and keepsakes, including jewellery and eternity spheres, or arrange a garden memorial.
