蕙風堂成立於1982年，專注於筆墨文具的設計與銷售。隨著業務發展，自1987年起增設出版部，專門發行碑帖、書論和畫冊等，至今已出版逾兩百種書籍和三十種寫字簿。該品牌的產品在全台灣四十多家專賣店及各大書店輕鬆購得。此外，蕙風堂自1989年起代理日本二玄社，進口來自日本及大陸等地的書畫出版品，進一步推動產品多元化與國際化。

蕙風堂在台南設有毛筆工廠，並在台北經營四家直營店，其中麗水店特別以高級文房用品和書畫作品著稱，並擁有全台最大的專業宣紙與書畫類圖書賣場。此外，品牌也積極贊助書法教育活動，為推廣書法文化做出重要貢獻。
