## Description

TopoRec is a mapping brand built around its Map Viewer app for smartphones and tablets, designed for treasure hunters, researchers, historians, archaeologists, and other map enthusiasts. The app brings together online modern and historical topographic maps from locations around the world, including historical maps, LIDAR data, aerial imagery, and resources for exploring old routes. Users can view and compare map layers, including their own WMS or WMTS maps, and work with geographic information in the field.

TopoRec also provides tools to record and edit points, areas, photos, and walking tracks, then organize them into projects. Users can create points by entering coordinates, calculate areas, customize categories and colors, and import or export project data. Supported formats include KML, GeoJSON, and CSV, enabling exchange with other applications. These features help users document discoveries, plan research, and keep fieldwork organized. TopoRec offers its Map Viewer as a practical way to explore places across historical and present-day maps and manage related geospatial data.
