## Description

Toppidrettsveka is an annual summer skiing event held in Norway, bringing international cross-country skiing competitions to Trondheim and Hitra. Staged in late August, it is presented as one of the world’s largest summer ski competitions and attracts both athletes and spectators. The event combines several race formats across multiple days, with recent programmes featuring a long-distance race on Hitra, an uphill race at Brekka, a sprint in Aure and a pursuit finish at Sverresborg. These varied stages offer a lively showcase of competitive skiing in distinctive local settings. Toppidrettsveka shares event updates, results and news through its website, alongside programme and athlete information. Viewers can also watch race coverage on VGTV, with broadcasts listed for each competition day. The event provides opportunities to get involved through its volunteer and media sections, and visitors can sign up for a newsletter for updates. Toppidrettsveka is associated with Norway Events AS, the organisation identified on the event website.
