# Top 2 % Scientists

- **Website:** <https://topresearcherslist.com>
- **Primary alias:** `topresearcherslist.com`

## Description

World’s Top 2% Scientists is an independent website that makes research rankings based on Stanford and Elsevier data easier to explore. It organizes researchers using citation measures, h-index scores and other bibliometric indicators, covering 22 scientific fields and 174 sub-fields. The rankings identify scientists who meet a top-two-percentile threshold or rank among the top 100,000 by c-score, calculated with and without self-citations. The site presents single-year data, including researcher and institutional listings, country statistics, and discipline and sub-discipline summaries. Visitors can browse profiles and view featured Nobel Prize winners. Researchers whose names appear in search results can claim a profile using an institutional email address to update social media links and other profile details, supporting their visibility and professional recognition. The site also offers downloadable charts and data in SVG, PNG and CSV formats, and provides FAQs, contact information and profile-claim guidance. Its operators state that the data comes from Scopus via ICSR Lab and that the site is not affiliated with Stanford University or Elsevier.
