## Description

Top Scores is a dedicated online resource that serves as a national database for Australian secondary school academic results, primarily focusing on the outstanding achievements of Year 12 students. This platform not only highlights the top scores attained by students but also provides detailed summaries of academic performance by each school, subject, and calendar year. Established to promote excellence in schooling, Top Scores hosts an extensive archive that dates back to 2000, with ongoing efforts to include historical data from earlier years.

Users can explore a wealth of information, including rankings, honour rolls, and comprehensive results across various Australian states and territories. The database allows for advanced data manipulation, enabling users to slice, filter, sort, and group performance results in multiple ways, facilitating meaningful comparisons between schools and subjects over the years. Top Scores is an invaluable tool for students, educators, and researchers interested in academic excellence and educational outcomes in Australia.
