## Description

Torshälla Segelsällskap is a nonprofit sailing club founded in 1926, serving people interested in boating and sailing in the Torshälla area. Its slipway beside the Torshälla River is equipped with a sublift for launching and hauling boats, along with two mast cranes and a number of harbor berths. Members can also enjoy Lövskär, the club’s island base, which has a clubhouse, overnight cabin, sauna, toilets, swimming area and barbecue spaces. Members may book the cabin and, in some cases, the clubhouse.

The club offers sailing schools for children and adults, children’s sailing camps, and races for dinghies and keelboats. It also organizes social activities that bring members together. Club resources include a shop with club clothing, booking facilities, sailing information and member services. Environmental work is another part of its activities, including guidance and procedures for boating-related environmental matters. In its centenary year, the club is hosting celebrations and major sailing events, including the Junior Swedish Championships and the Swedish Championships for Mälar boats.
