## Description

Tortelen is a Dutch dating brand that offers a playful, relaxed alternative to swiping and conventional speed dating. Its “speldaten” events help singles get to know one another through seven interactive games, rather than a series of formal questions. Participants play with different people, take a break, and can stay for a social gathering afterward. The activities are designed to encourage creativity, cooperation, humor, and natural conversation, creating an enjoyable evening whether or not participants find a match. Events are organized with age ranges, and attendees receive an envelope of compliments from other participants. Tortelen emphasizes privacy and encourages guests to put their phones away during events. It also offers Duivendates, a personal matchmaking service: participants share information about themselves, and Tortelen searches for a suitable date. Customers pay only when a date has been found. Events are available in several Dutch cities, including Amsterdam, The Hague, Eindhoven, Rotterdam, and Utrecht. Tortelen also provides event tickets, alerts, FAQs, and opportunities to collaborate.
