## Description

Torvholen Gård is a working farm with roots dating back to 1854, when the family began raising livestock and cultivating the land. Still in full operation, the farm combines modern agriculture with a commitment to living in harmony with nature. Its owners aim to share everyday farm life with more people through services based at the farmyard.

Approved by Stiftelsen Norsk Mat, Torvholen is an Inn på tunet farm, providing quality-assured services connected with farm life. Its dementia care centre is used by several municipalities in the Jæren region. The farm works closely with healthcare professionals and dementia coordinators in each municipality to shape suitable daily activities around each person’s needs and development.

Torvholen also operates a machinery services business, organised through a separate company. Using a modern fleet of equipment, it carries out work for agriculture as well as other businesses and private customers. Together, these activities bring care services, practical expertise and contemporary farming together at a farm that has served its community for generations.
