## Description

Touchy-Feely is a UK Community Interest Company supporting Black women affected by cancer and working to make the cancer journey more equitable. The organisation centres lived experience, aiming to improve representation, build culturally competent resources and encourage change in how Black women are understood and supported in cancer care. Its work responds to disparities in screening and diagnosis, including the higher likelihood of late-stage diagnoses reported among Black women in the UK.

Touchy-Feely offers holistic support, rehabilitation and restoration programmes for women living with and beyond cancer. Its activities bring together wellness practices, health education and shared experience, creating welcoming spaces where participants can build confidence, connection and a sense of belonging. The organisation also uses storytelling as a central part of its work, sharing cancer stories and inviting women to contribute to an archive that can help others feel seen and less alone.

Through community membership, events, educational resources and outreach, Touchy-Feely supports women across cancer types, with particular attention to underrepresented ethnic groups.
