## Description

Tour for Life is a cycling event organized by The Event Foundation that combines an ambitious sporting challenge with fundraising for groundbreaking cancer research through the Erasmus MC Foundation. Its flagship 8Days ride takes participants from Alpe d’Huez in France to the Netherlands over eight stages, crossing demanding Alpine climbs, the Vosges and the Ardennes. The 2027 edition is scheduled for 29 August to 5 September. For cyclists seeking a shorter challenge, Tour for Life 3Days starts in the Vosges and continues through the Ardennes to the hills of Limburg.

The event is built around shared effort, camaraderie and support, with volunteers and organizers helping riders along the route and at camp. Participants can register, request a free information pack, explore the route and invite others to sponsor their ride. Supporters can also donate to a participant. Tour for Life presents its rides as a memorable way to take on a personal cycling goal while contributing to research intended to improve outcomes for people affected by cancer.
