The Town of Breckenridge is dedicated to enhancing the safety and convenience of its residents and visitors. In response to increasing traffic demands, particularly for access to the parking structure and Breckenridge Transit Station, the town is constructing a new multi-lane roundabout at the intersection of Park Ave (SH 9) and Watson Ave Roundabout. Scheduled for completion in the summer of 2022, this project aims to improve traffic flow and safety in the area.

In addition to the roundabout, the project includes road widening (from two lanes to four lanes), utility work, street lighting improvements, and landscaping between Ski Hill Road. The Town of Breckenridge is committed to proactive infrastructure development to address the growing needs of the community.
