## Description

TownVue is an innovative community discovery platform launched in 2025 in Ostrander, Ohio, by founders Tad Rhodes and Letitia Powell. Dedicated to strengthening local connections, TownVue empowers residents to discover nearby businesses, events, and experiences without the clutter of advertisements or algorithmic biases. The platform operates on a principle of equal visibility, ensuring that every listed business receives fair exposure, regardless of their advertising budget. This unique approach allows users to find local offerings that genuinely match their needs rather than being swayed by paid placements.

TownVue is more than just a directory; it allows business owners to take charge of their listings by adding crucial details like hours, photos, and events. With a small team focused on providing verified information from the start, residents can navigate a locally-centric experience tailored to their communities. TownVue places local interests at the forefront, fostering a supportive ecosystem where small businesses can shine.
