## Description

The Toyooka Theater Festival, established in 2020, is rapidly becoming a renowned theatrical celebration in Japan, showcasing a diverse range of performances across various venues. Set against the stunning backdrop of Toyooka City, including Yabu City and the scenic areas of Asaka and Takarazuka, the festival utilizes unique locations such as hot spring towns, coastal areas, and picturesque rural stages.

The festival features around 70 groups both domestic and international, offering programs that include original street performances, improvised dance, and traditional rural kabuki played by local children. This year’s theme, “Observe, Engage, Explore,” invites attendees to not only enjoy remarkable shows but also to savor local delicacies and breathtaking landscapes along the way.

The festival also emphasizes community engagement, fostering interactions between artists, tourists, and locals through vibrant events like night markets and workshops. As it enters its fifth year, the Toyooka Theater Festival aims to deliver a one-of-a-kind artistic experience that emphasizes cultural exchange and community connection.
