Its traceless® materials are made from agricultural plant residues and natural polymers, using a patented process designed to support a circular, lower-carbon economy without competing with food production or contributing to deforestation.

The materials are intended to replace plastics in products that are difficult to recycle or likely to enter the environment, including single-use items, packaging, paper coatings and adhesives. They can be processed with standard industrial technologies, such as injection moulding and extrusion, enabling converters to make a range of end products using existing equipment.

According to the company, its base material is 100% biobased and fossil-free, certified plastic-free and home compostable. Under natural composting conditions, it breaks down into water, humus and carbon dioxide within weeks; the time depends on material thickness. traceless also reports that its materials do not affect recyclability in other waste streams and can reduce lifecycle greenhouse-gas emissions compared with virgin plastics.
