## Description

Trail des 2 Salines is an annual nature-running event that combines sport with the heritage of France’s Doubs and Jura regions. Organized by the EPCC de la Saline Royale in collaboration with EVEN Outdoor and Entente Jura Centre Athlétisme, it takes participants along a route connecting two UNESCO monuments: the Saline Royale in Arc-et-Senans and the Grande Saline in Salins-les-Bains. The course also passes through the village of Port-Lesney and follows the historic story of the salt trade.

The event offers four ways to take part. The Trail des 2 Salines covers 29 kilometres with 950 metres of elevation gain, while the Relais des Gabelous offers the same distance and elevation as a relay. For a shorter challenge, the Course des Gabelous is a 13-kilometre race with 280 metres of elevation gain, and the Rando des Gabelous provides a walking option over the same distance and elevation. The event website provides registration, practical information, schedules, regulations, results, media, accommodation details, and frequently asked questions.
