## Description

The Trail des Maures is an annual trail-running event held in Collobrières, in France’s Var department, among the wild landscapes of the Maures massif. Organised around a shared enthusiasm for outdoor sport and the region’s natural heritage, it welcomes runners of different abilities, from newcomers seeking a first challenge to experienced ultra-trail athletes. The 18th edition is scheduled for 7–9 May 2027.

The event offers a wide range of races and a randonnée, with distances from short introductory routes to a demanding 166 km, 100-mile course. Participants can choose solo or duo formats, enter the 100 km relay in teams of two or four, or take on a “Week-end Bloc” challenge by combining two races over consecutive days. Routes cross forest trails and notable local sites, including the Col de Babaou, Les Lamberts, Notre-Dame des Anges and Les Sauvettes, with courses varying in distance and elevation gain.

Trail des Maures also provides event information, race roadbooks, news, photographs and partner details through its website.
