Translators without Borders (TWB) is a renowned global brand that brings together over 100,000 talented linguists from around the world. As a global community, we are dedicated to helping people access vital information and have their voices heard, regardless of the language they speak. Our mission is to bridge language barriers and support humanitarian and development organizations worldwide through our language services. Originally founded in France in 1993 as Traducteurs sans Frontières, TWB was incorporated as a US nonprofit organization in 2011. Our founders, Lori Thicke and Ros Smith-Thomas, established TWB to connect translators with vetted nonprofit organizations focused on health, nutrition, and education. To expand our reach and impact, we recently created a new organization called CLEAR Global, comprising TWB, CLEAR Tech, and CLEAR Insights. This reorganization allows us to build upon our work and continue providing language solutions to those in need. We are grateful for the support of our dedicated volunteers, generous donors, grant funders, and sponsors who enable us to carry out our important work.
